Meet Lori Botolino, M.Ed
Founder, Plum & Ivy
As an educator, Lori recognized early in her career that many students struggled not because they lacked intelligence or motivation, but because they lacked the executive functioning skills needed to manage increasingly complex academic demands. That insight became the foundation of more than 25 years helping students build the systems, confidence, and independence to succeed.
Today, Lori partners with students, families, clinicians, educators, and organizations to bridge the gap between potential and performance—translating executive functioning research into practical strategies that create lasting success.

Executive Functioning
Executive functioning is the foundation of academic independence. These mental skills help people plan, prioritize, organize, manage time, and follow through – making it possible to meet increasing academic demands with confidence.
Executive functioning challenges rarely exist in isolation. Understanding the whole person—not simply the diagnosis—is central to every partnership.

In addition to student partnerships, Lori provides consultation, training, and professional development for families, educators, clinicians, youth organizations, and workplace professionals seeking a deeper understanding of ADHD and executive functioning.
